First Day of Chemo

I went in for my first chemo treatment this morning. Mark went with me. The whole process took about 2 hours. They put lorazepam in the mix, which made me a little groggy. I had a book to read, but kept reading the same thing over and over...LOL! Got home, ate a decent lunch, and then went to take a nap. That lasted several hours. Carol came over, and we had a very nice visit. So far (6 hours after treatment), I don't have any nausea. We'll see how I feel later on. I still feel somewhat "thick-headed". I'm supposed to drink 3 quarts in the 24 hours after chemo. I'm finishing up #1. I may live on the potty!
